(i) Saving the uploaded file data into the Flash Memo-
ry.
Using the Web browser (such as Internet Explorer),
perform the following operations on the PC:
(1) Start the Web browser on the PC.
(2) In Address textbox, enter "http://
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/ftptool.html", and press
Enter.
Where "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" is the IP address
of the SIU-100/100T.
(3) The following display appears on the Web brows-
er.
(4) Click Upall on the Web browser. The data that
was transferred from the PC through the FTP is
started to write into the Flash Memory. It takes
about 40 seconds to complete this processing.

When Upall is selected, both scene and SYSTEM
BACKUP data are restored.
Do not use Upsram or Upscene unless there are
special circumstances. (Upsram restores only
SYSTEM BACKUP data. Upscene restores scene
data.)
The Update button is for updating firmware. It is
not needed for this operation.
(5) When "Upload Completed" is displayed on the
Web browser, transfer of data onto Flash Memory
is complete.
(j) Execute SYSTEM RESTORE
From the SIU-100/100T SETUP menu, execute
SYSTEM RESTORE.
After the SYSTEM RESTORE program ends, restart
the SIU-100/100T to complete the restore.

(k) Store serial number.
Store the unit serial number on the new CPU-353
board.
This setting is performed on the unit.
(1) Switch the SIU-100/100T power OFF.
(2) Switch the power ON while pressing both SCENE
and MIC AMP buttons on the front panel. Keep
the buttons pressed until the serial number is
displayed.

The serial number is displayed on the lower part. After
the CPU-353 board replacement, an incorrect number
is displayed.
(3) Type the 6-digit serial number using the numeric
keypad on the front panel.
The serial number has 6 digits starting from
800001, which is printed on a machined nameplate
on SIU-100/100T's rear panel.
(4) Press ENTER.
(5) The new number is displayed. If it is correct, press
ENTER.

(6) The serial number is written in the Flash Memory
of the CPU, and the SIU-100/100T automatically
restarts.
