Using Windows OS to Set the Function of Accessing the Internet with Your
Phone
You can also connect your phone and PC with the USB cable, and then use the Windows
operating system to set the function of accessing the Internet by your phone. Follow these
steps:

Ensure that your USIM card supports the function of accessing the Internet.

Select a data account from Menu/Connect/Data account, and set relevant
information.

Select Modem via USB from Menu/Connect/Modem setup. And select
Settings to select a data account to be used.

Install the HUAWEI U626 Mobile Phone PC Assistant coming with your U626
phone package: Insert the CD carrying the application software, select "Install
USB Data Cable Driver" and click <Continue>. Then, follow the prompts to
complete the installation.

Connect your phone and PC with the USB cable.

Ensure that there is "USB Modem" in the "Modem" of the "Device manager"
of your PC.

On your PC, you can select "Network Connections" from the "Control Panel"
and click Create a new connect". Then you can follow the guides to create a
new connect.

Execute the new connection to dial up the Internet.
