Shutting down the heating system

8
In a multi-boiler system, only the corresponding boiler can be
Multi-
switched off with the Vitotronic 100. If the complete boiler system
boiler
system
is to be switched off, it is necessary to switch off the master
control and the power supply power supply to the heating system
as well.
If you do not want to use the boiler temporarily, select standby operation
(see page 6).
If you do not want to use the boiler for a long period (several months), you
should shut it down.
We advise you to contact your heating contractor before shutting down the
boiler for long periods. Your heating contractor will take any necessary action,
e.g. for freeze-up protection of the system or to safeguard the heat exchange
surfaces.
1. Switch off the heating system on/off
switch "8".
The green lamp goes out. The power
supply to the boiler is now switched
off.
There is no freeze-up protection of
the boiler and DHW tank.
2. Close the shut-off valves in the oil
pipes (at the boiler) or close the gas
shut-off valve, whichever applicable.
Please note:
The settings of the control unit
remain intact.
