Installation procedure

1. Remove the ignition key and disconnect
the negative (-) terminal of the battery to
prevent short circuits.
2. Connect the input and output cables of
the units.
3. Connect the ground cable, battery cable,
and ignition cable of the wiring harness
in the order listed.
4. Install the unit in the car.
5. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the
battery.
6. Press the Reset button.

2CAUTION
• If the fuse blows, check cables for
shorts, then replace the fuse with one of
the same rating.
• Check that no unconnected cables or
connectors are touching the car body.
Do not remove caps from unconnected
cables or connectors to prevent short
circuits.
• After installation, check that the brake
lamps, winkers, and wipers work
properly.
• Insulate unconnected ends of cords with
vinyl tape or similar.
• Use only the supplied screws for
installation. Use of any other screws
may damage the unit.
Remove all 3 transportation
screws (minus) for protecting the
internal mechanism before you
start to install the unit.
NOTE
After removing the transport
screw, retain it carefully and
attach it again before transporting
the unit again.
