Operation (continued)
If the angle is greater than 45° but less than 90°,
the slope of the surface is H=L / tan α
(see Figure 7).
ABSOLUTE ANGLE MEASUREMENT
1.
Lay the digital level on a surface, ensuring the base sits flat against the surface. The level has two magnets
in the bottom to secure it to steel surfaces. If necessary, you can turn the digital level upside down during
measuring. The display will continue to read normally.
2.
Once you turn the level on, the display figure indicates the absolute angle between the level and the working
surface.
3.
While the angle changes, the bias on the display shows the tilt trend of the tool while the right arrow points
upward or downward.
To activate the beeper, push the On/
4.
5.
To change the display units for the measured angle, see the Changing the Display Units in the Operation section.
RELATIVE ANGLE MEASUREMENT
1.
Lay the digital level on the surface.
2.
Push the Reset button. The display reads 0.0°, while its top left corner shows the zero line. Move it to another
working surface, and the relative angle between the two working surfaces will be displayed.
3.
To change the display units for the measured angle, see Changing the Display Units in the Operation section.
4.
To return to absolute angle measurement, turn off the level and power it on again.
/Off button. To deactivate, push it one more time.
