NOTE

Optical drive components

The optical drive is located on the front of the computer. The Media
control buttons are located above the keyboard and can be accessed
when the display panel is open.
Depending on the type of drive on your computer, the procedure to
insert and remove optical media may differ.

The media control buttons located above the keyboard let you play
audio CDs or DVD movies.

The Internet button launches the default Internet browser.
The Media button launches Windows Media Center and plays the
CD or DVD, if one is inserted into the drive, when the computer is
powered on and the Windows
Media Center is running, the Media button has the same function as
the My Music button on the Toshiba Remote Control.
For optimum HD DVD and/or DVD performance, it is recommended
that you play DVDs while running the computer on AC power.
