While holding the cap still, rotate the middle section to unlock the two components
and then pull apart, (fig. 6/3).

Locate the mesh filter inside the housing body and rotate counter-clockwise to unclip.
Pull filter straight out (fig. 6/4).

To clean, tap filter on the side of trash container to dislodge any dust and remove any
large debris. do NOT wash the filter in water.
b. Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filter
The pre-motor filter is located in the bottom section under the dust container (fig
6/5).
