Super C.Nite
You can make the subject recorded appear to be in slow motion by controlling the shutter speed, or a brighter image
in dark places without a compromise in colours.
Settings
Off Disables the function.
Record a brighter image.
Normal
Super Record a brighter image even in a dark location.
• When using Super C.Nite, the focus adjusts slowly and white dots may appear on the screen, this is not a defect.
• The Super C.Nite function will work only in Movie record mode.
• This function will be set to "Off" in the EASY Q mode.
Anti-Shake (EIS: Electronic Image Stabilizer)
When you use zoom to record a magnified subject image, it will correct fuzziness in the recorded image.
Settings
Off Disables the function.
Compensates for unstable images caused by camcorder-shake, particularly at high
On
magnification.
• EASY Q mode automatically sets the "Anti-Shake" to "On."
• When "Anti-Shake: On" is set, there will be a slight difference between the actual movement and the movement on screen.
• Gross camcorder shake may not be entirely corrected even if "Anti-Shake: On" is set. Firmly hold the HD camcorder with
both hands.
• It is recommended that you specify "Anti-Shake: Off" when using the HD camcorder on a desk or tripod (not supplied).
• When you record images with high magnification and the "Anti-Shake" is set to "On" in dark locations, after-images may
stand out. In this case, we recommend using a tripod (not supplied) and turning the "Anti-Shake" to "Off."
• Anti-Shake (EIS) is not available when the exposure is adjusted above 27. (Photo record mode only)
• When the flash is activated in Photo mode, the "Anti-Shake" is turned off.
