Working procedures

Wait until the power tool has come to a standstill
before putting it down .

Sanding surfaces

Turn on the power tool and ensure that the
whole grinding surface is in contact with the
material being worked . Move it with moderate
pressure over the workpiece .
NOTE
The removal rate and the sanding pattern are
mainly determined by the choice of sanding
sheet and the contact pressure . Only flawless
sanding sheets achieve good sanding results .
Ensure that you apply even pressure . Use of
excessive pressure does not lead to a greater
sanding efficiency, but rather to increased wear
of the sanding sheet .
Do not use a sanding sheet that has been used
for metal on other materials .

Maintenance and cleaning

The random orbital sander is maintenance-free .
Always clean the tool directly after completion
of work .
Use a dry cloth to clean the housing . Under no
circumstances should you use fuel, detergents,
solvents or abrasive cleaners .
Ensure ventilation openings are always free .
Remove any adhering grinding dust with a
brush .
