WRITING OPERATION OF SERIAL NUMBER AFTER
REPLACING THE MAIN BOARD
Be sure to perform the writing operation of serial number accord-
ing to the following procedure when having replaced the MAIN
board.
Preparation:
Use the following remote commander for writing operation of se-
rial number.
Note 1: It cannot perform the writing operation of serial number with the
remote commander of this unit's accessories.
Note 2: If using a remote commander other than the remote commander
for test mode indicated below and there is no [AMP] button on
the remote commander, skip the operation of pressing the [AMP]
button.

Procedure:
1. Press the [?/1] button to turn the power on.
2. Press the [AMP] → [ V ] → [ v ] → [ V ] → [ v ] → [ b ] → [ B ] →
[1] → [2] → [3] buttons on the remote commander in order.
Note 3: Press the each button in 150 ms or more interval, and perform the
all button operations in 10 seconds or less.
3. When entering the servicing mode, BLUETOOTH standby
mode indicator LED lights up once for 100 ms.
Note 4: When it has failed in setting of servicing mode, nothing has
changed. Perform from step 1 again.

4. Check the serial number 7 digits on the serial/mode label stuck
on the bottom side of this unit.

5. Calculate the check digit (numeral of 1 digit).
Note 5: Confi rm the method of obtaining the fi le for calculation of check
digit to the each service headquarters.
6. Press the [AMP] → [DISPLAY] → [1] → [6] → [1] → [1] →
(each numeral of serial number 7 digits) → (numeral of check
digit 1 digit) → [ ] buttons on the remote commander in order.
Note 6: Press the each button in 150 ms or more interval, and perform the
all button operations in 15 seconds or less.
7. When it has succeeded in writing of serial number, BLUE-
TOOTH standby mode indicator LED lights up once for 100 ms.
Note 7: When it has failed in writing of serial number, BLUETOOTH
standby mode indicator LED fl ashes 10 times in 100 ms interval.
8. Calculate the serial number conversion value (numeral of 7
digits) for remote commander transmitter.
Note 8: Confi rm the method of obtaining the fi le for calculation of serial
number conversion value to the each service headquarters.
9. Press the [AMP] → [DISPLAY] → [1] → [6] → [0/10] → [1]
→ (each numeral of serial number conversion value 7 digits)
→ [ ] buttons on the remote commander in order.
Note 9: Press the each button in 150 ms or more interval, and perform the
all button operations in 14 seconds or less.
10. When entering the serial number verify mode, a status indica-
tor LED lights up, and it indicates the serial number writing
status.
