Safety instructions

The safety instructions included in chapter "Basic Safety Instructions" in the equipment
manual (GH7) Sinamics S120, Power units / Chassis / Liquid-cooled must be
observed!
WARNING
Danger to life owing to non-observance of the basic safety instructions and of residual risks
In case of non-observance of the basic safety instructions and the residual risks acc. to chapter "Basic
Safety Instructions" of the equipment manual (GH7) Sinamics S120, accidents causing severe injuries or
death may occure.
• Observe strictly the Basic Safety Instructions.
• Upon risk assessment bear in mind the residual risks.
WARNING
Danger to life owing to improper transport and installation of the power units
Improper transport or installation of the power units may cause severe or even fatal injuries and extensive
material damage.
• Transport, mount and demount the power units only, when you are qualified for this job.
• Observe that the power units can be very heavy and top heavy and take the necessary precautions.
• Secure the power units upon installation or deinstallation always by fixing them to the crane hook.
• Bear your personal protective equipment (i.e. safety shoes, gloves).
CAUTION
Material damage by mechanically loaded power-rails and conections for coolants
Mechanically loaded power-rails and connections for coolants may cause damages at the power unit.
• Don't use the power- rails and coolant connections protruding from the power unit as handles for
carrying or as a place for depositing things during the transport.
