Exact Mode
In Exact mode, any answer that is not a whole number is displayed as
a fraction or in symbolic form. Any decimal entered will be converted
to a fraction in lowest terms. To convert 1.25 to a fraction, enter
and press . To override Exact mode and display an answer as
ENTER

Auto Mode
In Auto mode, an answer is displayed as in Exact mode whenever possible
except when a decimal is used in the problem. Pressing
decimal answer that would ordinarily be displayed as an exact answer.
