SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

Balancing the Scale
Before first use or after frequent movement, the scale must be balanced by adjusting
the wheels and utilizing the built-in bubble level. The bubble level is located on the
bottom stabilizing bar next to the wheel (see image below). The scale is balanced when
the bubble is located in the center of the bubble level. Follow these steps to balance the
scale.
1. Lock the brakes on each wheel by using your foot to push down the gray lever
marked "ON".
2. Start by adjusting the wheels on the side of the scale where the bubble is closest.
Adjust each wheel one at a time by turning the wheel once counterclockwise.
3. After each turn check the placement of the bubble to ensure it is moving towards the
center of the black circle. Adjust the wheels as needed until the bubble is in the
center of the circle.

Auto Off Function
When powering the scale via batteries, the display can be set to power off after a period
of inactivity. Follow this procedure to disable the Auto Off function or set the number of
seconds of inactivity before power off.
1. Press to power on the scale. Wait for "0.0" to appear on the display.
