Accelerator pedal position sensor 1 voltage is at or above the specified value
(4.7 V).
System recovers if any valid signal is input when starter switch is turned from
OFF to ON (the warning lamp does not go out unless 3 consecutive valid signals
are input).
Control is carried out using output from accelerator pedal position sensor 2.
• Open-circuit or short-circuit of harness between engine electronic control unit
and accelerator pedal position sensor 1
• Malfunction of each connector
• Malfunction of accelerator pedal position sensor 1
• Malfunction of engine electronic control unit
Accelerator pedal position sensor 2 voltage is at or below the specified value
(0.49 V).
System recovers if any valid signal is input when starter switch is turned from
OFF to ON (the warning lamp does not go out unless 3 consecutive valid signals
are input).
Control is carried out using output from accelerator pedal position sensor 1.
• Open-circuit or short-circuit of harness between engine electronic control unit
and accelerator pedal position sensor 2
• Malfunction of each connector
• Malfunction of accelerator pedal position sensor 2
• Malfunction of engine electronic control unit

• Throttle control is stopped.
• Open-circuited or short-circuited harness between electronic drive unit and in-
take throttle
