This pool pump must be installed by a licensed or certified electrician or a qualified pool installer in
accordance with the 2008 National Electrical Code ("NEC") and/or all applicable local codes and
ordinances. The specific section of NEC covering your pump may vary depending on your location. Some
states, and/or municipalities may not have adopted the 2008 edition of the NEC. In this case your state or
local code may only be applicable and/or an earlier edition of the NEC may apply. Please check your local
and state codes and regulations before commencing any installation of this pump. Improper installation
