Setup Flowchart

These flowcharts show the procedure for setting up the CRW8824SX drive. For
easy cross-referencing, the relevant pages in this manual are also given.

Windows Users

Do you have a SCSI adapter

card?
Check that the SCSI adapter

card is recognized correctly
Go to Control Panel | System | Device
Manager tab. Double-click on SCSI
controllers to check that the adapter card is
recognized correctly by the computer's OS.
Set up the CRW8824SX drive

1. Set the switches at the rear of the drive.

2. Connect the SCSI and power cables,
then switch the drive on. (P.16-18)

Go to Control Panel | System | Device
Manager tab. Double-click on CDROM
to check that the drive is recognized
correctly by the computer's OS.
Install the CD writing software
