6.12 Securing the Wheelchair

This wheelchair is to be used only with Wheelchair Tie-
down and Occupant Restraint Systems (WTORS) that
have been installed in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions and SAE J2249.
A copy of SAE J2249 Wheelchair Tie-down and
Occupant Restraint Systems (WTORS) for use in Motor
Vehicles can be obtained from: SAE International, 400
Commonwealth Drive, Warrendale, PA 15096-0001,
(877) 606-7232 or (724) 776-4970.
Attach WTORS to the tie-down brackets in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions and SAE J2249.
