NOTE:
When the traction control sys-
tem
is
controlling
power
output,
sound and exhaust sound will
change.
When the front tire is not in full
contact with the road surface
due to sudden acceleration or
other reasons, the traction
control system will control
engine power output.
When the front or rear tires do
not stay in full contact with the
road surface, such as when
riding on a bumpy road, the
traction control system will
control engine power output.
When the traction control sys-
tem
is
controlling
power
output,
speed will not increase even if
the throttle grip is operated to
increase engine power. If this
happens, close the throttle
completely to restore the nor-
mal condition.

The traction control system can
be set to OFF, Mode 1 or Mode 2.
<OFF>
The traction control system does
not control engine power output
even if the rear tire spins.
<Mode 1>
The sensitivity level of the traction
control system is set low in this
mode, so the traction control sys-
tem allows a certain degree of
wheel
spin
engine power output.
<Mode 2>
The sensitivity level of the traction
control system is set high in this
mode, so the traction control sys-
tem allows a lesser degree of
wheel spin than when set in Mode
1 before controlling engine power
output.
