The RBR1000 IC provides the received FLO baseband signal to the MBD1000 IC: a pair of differential
analog components, in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q). These are input to the MBD1000 IC at the
RX_IP, RX_IM, RX_QP, and RX_QM pins, and immediately digitized by the analog-to-digital converter
(ADC) circuits.
The MBD1000 IC enables and disables the FLO RF receiver using a dedicated control line: the
RF_ON signal.
After the ADC, the digitized signal is monitored and factored into control commands sent to the
RBR1000 IC via the single-wire serial bus interface (SSBI). These SSBI controls set RBR parameters
for optimal receiver performance. The digitized signal also forms the input to the FLO demodulator
circuits.
