Hydraulic tank kit for greensmaster 3120 or 3150 2-wheel drive traction unit

Remove the capscrews and lock washers from
the solenoid-valve assembly.

Remove the leak-detector tank from the
machine.

Removing the Hydraulic
Tank
No Parts Required
Procedure
Note:
Set aside all removed hardware for installation.
1.
Disconnect the machine wire harness from the
oil-level sensor.
2.
Label all hydraulic-tank hose connections for
assembly purposes.
3.
Remove the hose assemblies from the hydraulic
fittings on the tank. Allow each hose to drain
into a suitable container.
4.
Greensmaster 3120 machines: Remove the
capscrews and spacers that secure the carbon
canister and bracket to the tank.
5.
Carefully position the carbon canister and
bracket away from the tank.
6.
Remove the capscrews, flat washers, and
bushings that secure the hydraulic tank to the
machine frame.
7.
Remove the hydraulic tank from the machine.
8.
Greensmaster 3120 machines: Remove the
hex-head plug from the tank.
9.
Remove the hydraulic fittings and the oil-level
sensor from the hydraulic tank.

Installing the Hydraulic
Tank

Procedure
1.
Lightly lubricate the O-rings of each fitting with
hydraulic fluid.
2.
Install the hydraulic fittings into the hydraulic
tank openings.
Note:
Use the labels that you made during the
removal process to properly install the hydraulic
lines to the tank fittings.
3.
Torque the hydraulic fittings as follows:
Strainer fitting: 95 to 108 N∙m (70 to 80 ft-lb)
Barbed fitting: 95 to 108 N∙m (70 to 80 ft-lb)
Tee fitting (Greensmaster 3120 machines
only): 23 to 28 N∙m (17 to 21 ft-lb)
Straight hydraulic fitting (Greensmaster 3150
machines only): 23 to 28 N∙m (17 to 21 ft-lb)

Greensmaster 3150 machines: Install the
oil-level sensor to the hydraulic tank and ensure
that the sensor arrow is pointing down
3). Torque the sensor nut to 12.5 to 15.8 N∙m
(110 to 140 in-lb).

spout from the hydraulic tank and install the plug
(included in this kit) into the tank
