The J300 series inverters are equipped with prctection functions against overcurrent,
overvoltage, and undervoltage which protect the inveder. If the protection functions are
engaged, the output is shut down, motor runs free and holds that condition until it is reset.

detected in the power module. Refer to E:[], GEl, ffi,

Overload
\OTE I)
When a motor overload is det€cted by the elecaonic thermal function, the output
of the inverter is cul off.

L ndcrvoltage
A decrease of the input voltage of an inverter results in improper function of the
contol circuit. 11 also Senerates motor h€al and causes low torque. Oulput is
cut off when the input vohage gocs down lo lcss than 300 V to 320 V.

CPU error
Malfunction or abnormalily on built-in CPU and the output of the invener is cut

trxtemal trip
An abnormality signal from extemal equipment cuts off the output of the inverter.
(When extemal tiD function is sel€cted)
USP enor
It indicates an error when power is turned on while the invener is being run.
(whcn USP tunction is s€lecled)
Ground laull
The inverter is protected by detection of gound faults between the invener output
and the motor upon power on. There may be the possibility of power module failure.

lnput overvollage
When the input voltage is higher than the specified value, it is detected 100 seconds
after power is tumed on and the output is cut oft However, when a volOge higher

Wlen an instantaneous flower failure for more than 15 ms occurs, the oulput is cut
