Mount the four screws of the crankshaft cover. Cut
off the gasket flaps level with the cylinder foot.

The arrow on the piston should always point
towards the exhaust side. Press the gudgeon pin
in and seat the gudgeon pin bearing and circlips.
6.
Seat a new cylinder foot gasket. The gasket can
only be mounted in one direction.
7.
Use cylinder ring tool 502 50 70-01 which holds
the piston rings while assembling the cylinder.
