The procedures in this section test the optical performance of the instrument.
The complete specifications to which the H P E5970A is tested are given in
Appendix C. All tests can be performed without access to the interior of thr
instrument.
Required Test Equipment
The equipment required for the performance test is listed in the table below.
Any equipment which satisfies the critical specifications of the equipment given
in the table, may be substituted for the recommended models.
