Caring For Your Microwave Oven
Cleaning the microwave oven
Wipe often with warm, sudsy water and a sponge
or paper towel. The glass turntable may be
removed for deaning; however, this oven is
designed to operate with the turntable in place.
Do not operate the microwave oven when
turntable is removed for cleaning. See page 32
for further information about the turntable.

For stubborn soil, boil a cup of water in the oven
for 2 or 3 minutes. Steam will soften the soil.
Be sure to keep the areas clean where the
door and oven frame touch when closed. Use
only mild, nonabrasive soaps or detergents
applied with a sponge or paper towel when
cleaning surfaces. Rinse well.
Procluot Damage Hazard
Abraslve cleansers, steel wool pads, gritty
wash cloths, etc., can damage the control
panel, and the lnterlor and exterior oven
surfaces. Use a sponge wlth a mild deter-
gent or a paper towel wlth spray glass
cleaner. Apply spray glass cleaner to paper
towel; do not spray directly on oven.
To clean turntable and turntable support,
wash in mild, sudsy water; for heavily soiled
areas use a mild deanser and scouring sponge.
The turntable and turntable support are dish-
washer-safe.
Browner element and reflector
The element is self cleaning. lf exa3ss grease
spatters on the reflector, wipe carefully after lt
has cooled completely.
