Precautions

Power supply
• The unit is designed for operation on a power supply
meeting the requirements indicated in the "Specifications"
on page 33.
• Do not drop or place heavy objects on the power cord. If
the power cord is damaged, turn off the power immediately.
It is dangerous to use the unit with a damaged power cord.
• Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet by grasping
the plug, not by pulling the cord.
Location
Avoid operating or storing the unit in the following locations.
• Extremely hot or cold places
• In direct sunlight or near a heater
• Damp or dusty places
• Locations subject to strong vibration
• Near strong magnetic fields
• Close to generators that emit powerful electromagnetic
radiation, such as radio or TV transmitters.

Cleaning
• Clean the cabinet and panels by wiping with a soft, dry
cloth.
• For severe stains, moisten the cloth with a small amount of
neutral solvent, and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use alcohol, benzine, thinners or volatile liquids, as
they may discolor or damage the cabinet surface.
Other precautions
• Be careful not to spill water or other liquids on the unit, or
to get combustible or metallic material inside the body.
• Do not drop the unit or subject it to severe impacts.
• Place the Camera Adaptor near the wall outlet while in use.
Should any problem occur, disconnect the Camera adaptor
from the wall outlet as soon as possible to cut off the
power.
In the event of any problems with the operation of the unit,
contact your Sony service representative.
