1. Media Jamming
2. Pull or Move the Carriage by hands.
3. Carriage runs into a thing/hands.
4. Media is stuck because it is caught by the paper pipe.
5. Media is pulled forcedly.
6. Too heavy media is loaded.
7. In using the media take-up system to perform output with pullback
movement, the [TU2] of the [SETUP SHEET] menu is not selected.
< Printer factors >
1. The grease lubrication of the motor gear is not enough.
2. Motor is broken or comes to its end of life.
3. Servo Board is broken.
4. Carriage fixation to the belt is loose.
REFERENCE
In using the media take-up system to perform output with
pullback movement, you have to select the [TU2] of the
[SETUP SHEET] menu.
When using hard-to-unroll or too heavy media, Motor
Error occurs due to the too much load for feeding the
media.
When the Limit Position is not correctly set, it causes a
Scan Motor Error.
Never install the printer in a location where it is tilted or
where it may wobble or experience vibration.
When the Motor is broken or reaches its life, the Motor
cannot follow the order from the CPU and it results in a
Motor Error.
When the Motor Driver IC on the Servo Board is broken,
the Power Supply voltage for the motor is not supplied
and the motor cannot move. It results in the Motor Error.
When the Power Supply voltage for the Motor is not
supplied, the Motor cannot move and it results in the
Motor Error.
