5. On the rear face of the control pod, above the key
switch, remove the switch blank panels between the
auto limited lift and beacon switches

Parts needed for this procedure:
2 Adhesive reflector
20 Cable tie
1 Serial label
Procedure
1. Cable tie all cables for the front lights, rear lights and
the pressure switch so that they are secure and to
prevent them from becoming trapped or chafed.
2. Connect the positive battery cable.
3. Test the switches on the control panel and ensure that
the indicator switch is oriented correctly so that the
direction of the switch matches the direction on the
indicators.
4. Refit the control panel, ensuring that no connectors
have become detached and that no cables are nipped
(see Figure 18).
5. Lower and latch the engine cover.
6. Apply the adhesive reflectors to the engine cover,
aligning reflector's longest edge with the inside edge of
the engine cover
Note: The reflectors should be fitted 6–7 cm from the
bottom edge of the engine cover.
