Is resistance ∞ Ω?
YES
→ Go to step 4.
NO
a. Replace the wire harness.
b. Turn the main switch to "ON", and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction mode
of the YDT.
Is it in the "Recovered" condition?
YES
→ Go to step 7, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 4.
4. Defective EXUP servo motor.
• Disconnect the cables and execute the diagnostic code. (Code D53)
• Check the operating sound of the motor.
Is check result OK?
YES
→ Go to step 5.
NO
a. Replace the EXUP servo motor.
Refer to "ENGINE REMOVAL" on page 5-11.
b. Turn the main switch to "ON", and then check the condition of the DTC using the malfunction mode
of the YDT.
Is it in the "Recovered" condition?
YES
→ Go to step 7, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 5.
5. Defective EXUP valve, pulley, and cables.
• Turn the EXUP valve manually with the cables disconnected.
Is check result OK?
YES
• Check the cables.
Is check result OK?
YES
→ Go to step 6.
