Volume status messages include the following:
Good—Indicates the volume is accessible and hard drive is functioning normally.
Failed—Indicates a volume cannot be started automatically, the disk may be
damaged or the file system may be corrupt.
Resyncing—Occurs when creating a mirror or when a mirrored volume is being
resynchronized.
Formatting—Indicates volume is being formatted.
Degraded—Missing one drive in a RAID configuration.
Recovering—The failed drive has been replaced and data is being restored to a
working drive in a RAID 1, RAID 5, or RAID 10 configuration.
To display more detailed information, click an underlined status.

To modify the volume:

1. Click the Manage Volume tab.
2. Click the Modify
