Auto Quiet Function
Auto Quiet function lowers the fan speed while maintaining maximum performance. When the
Auto Quiet function is selected:
Under Cooling Mode
The indoor fan operates at Medium-high speed. 10 minutes after the Auto Quiet function is
selected, or when the ambient temperature reaches 82° F (28° C) or lower, the indoor fan will
operate at Medium-low speed or Quiet mode depending on the difference between the indoor
ambient temperature and the set temperature.
Under Heating Mode
The indoor fan operates at Medium speed or Quiet mode depending on the difference between
the indoor ambient temperature and the set temperature.
Under Dry and Fan Mode
The indoor fan operates in Quiet mode.
Under Auto Mode
The indoor fan adjusts depending on whether the unit is actually running in Cool, Heating, or
Fan mode. Although the unit is nominally in Auto mode, it will really be changing between Cool,
Heating, and Fan mode automatically to keep the room as comfortable as possible. While this
happens, the Auto Quiet function will follow and operate in the various fan speeds described
above in tandem with the unit's current mode.
Sleep Function
The Sleep function cannot be activated while the air conditioner is in Fan or Auto mode. When the
unit is in Dehumidify mode, only the Sleep 1 function can be initiated. When any Sleep function is
initiated, the Quiet function is automatically activated as well. You can choose different Quiet
settings or cancel the Quiet function completely while continuing to use the Sleep function.
Operation Guide
General Operation
1. Press the "ON / OFF" button to power the air conditioner on or
off.
Note: When the air conditioner is powered on, the guide louver
of the main unit will close automatically.
2. Press the "MODE" button until your desired running mode is
selected.
3. Press the "+" or "-" button to set your desired temperature. (It is
unnecessary to set the temperature when the unit is in AUTO
mode.)
4. Press the "FAN" button until your desired fan speed is selected.
Pressing the "FAN" button will advance through the following
cycle of fan speeds: Auto Fan, Low, Medium-low, Medium,
Medium-high, and High.
