When the staple cartridge is empty or staples become
jammed in the STAPLE SORT mode, the STAPLE SORT
(
) mode indicator will blink, the misfeed loca-

tion indicator for the sorter will blink, and the red
manual staple key indicator on the staple sorter will
light up.
NOTES:
• If the staple cartridge is empty or only a few
staples are left, replace the cartridge with a new
one following the procedure below.
• If there are still many staples left, then staples
have jammed in the stapler. See next page.

Wenn die Heftklammerpatrone leer ist oder Heftklammern
im Modus SORTIEREN MIT HEFTEN gestaut werden,
beginnen die Anzeige SORTIEREN MIT HEFTEN (
und die Anzeige für die Staustelle am Sortierer zu blinken,
und die rote Anzeige für manuelles Heften am Sortier-
Heftgerät leuchtet auf.
• Ist die Heftklammerpatrone leer oder sind nur

protruding past the cartridge tip, tear
them off at the STAPLE TEAR line and
align the first staple with the tip.
• A cartridge holds 5,000 staples.

• Nachdem alle Kopien erstellt und
sortiert worden sind, wird jeder
Kopiensatz automatisch geheftet.
• Kopiensätze, die Kopien unterschied-
licher Breite enthalten, werden nicht
geheftet.
ANMERKUNG:
noch wenige Heftklammern übrig, die Heftklam-
merpatrone wie unten beschrieben auswechseln.
Heftklammern im Heftgerät gestaut. Siehe folgende
Seite.
1 Abdeckung des Heftgerätes öffnen.
2 Den grünen Entriegelungshebel
anheben und die Heftklammerpatrone
aus dem Heftgerät entnehmen.
• Einige Heftklammern stecken noch in
der Patrone. Diese entfernen und
wegwerfen.
3 Darauf achten, daß sich die erste
Heftklammer der neuen Patrone an
der Vorderkante der Patrone befindet.
• Befindet sich die erste Klammer nicht
an der Vorderkante, muß sie ganz zur
Kante vorgezogen werden. Sollten die
ersten Heftklammern über die Kante
herausragen, müssen sie an der
Bruchlinie abgebrochen und die erste
Heftklammer an der Vorderkante aus-
gerichtet werden.
• Eine Patrone faßt 5000 Heftklam-
mern.
