Problem

Suggeston
• Make sure the answerng system s on. When the answerng system s on, the red lght on the
ANS ON/OFF key should be lt.
• If Toll Saver s actvated, the number of rngs changes to two when there are new messages
watng (page 35).
• If the memory s full or f the answerng system s off, the system wll answer after ten rngs.
• In some cases, the answerng system wll be affected by the rngng system used by the local
telephone company.
• When recordng the announcement, make sure you speak n a normal tone of voce about nne
nches from the telephone base.
• Make sure there is no background noise (television, music, traffic, etc.) when recording.
Press VOL
• on the telephone base to ncrease the speaker volume. on the telephone base to ncrease the speaker volume.
• Make sure the answerng system s on.
• If the answerng machne memory s full, t wll not record new messages untl some old
messages are deleted.
• If a caller leaves a very long message, part of t may be lost when the system dsconnects the
call after four mnutes.
• If the memory on the system becomes full durng a message, the system stops recordng and
dsconnects the call.
• If the caller's voce s very soft, the system may stop recordng and dsconnect the call.
