Check before reporting breakdown
If malfunction warning appears on the board displaying the time remaining while
washing, rinsing, or spinning, check the followings before requesting a service.

Checklist
Is a faucet turned off?
Is water shut off or frozen?
Is water pressure extremely low
or a drain screen clogged?
Is only hot wash light on after only
one cold water hose connected?
Isn't a cold water hose connected
to hot water?
Is the drain hose put down?
Is the drain hose bent or the door
sill too high?
Is the drain hose clogged inside?
Is the drain hose frozen inside?
It the laundry tangled up in one side?
Is the washer placed on an uneven
floor?
Is the lid of the washer open?
Is the door locked?
Please empty the tub, insert bleach into the detergent dispenser and select the Tub Clean
cycle.
If you want to skip the Tub Clean, press option buttons to select desired cycle. In this case,
you would see the message again after few washing times. Once performed Tub Clean
cycle, will disappear until next point of time to clean the tub.
Are there any coins stuck in the washer plate?
Are there any impurities such as pins or clips
stuck?
Troubleshooting
Turn on a faucet.
Warm it up with about 50˚C
hot water. (p36)
Take out the water supply
filter (p37) and clean it.
Connect hot water hose.
Connect cold water hose to blue
and hot water hose to orange.
Put drain hose down from the
hanger in the washer.
If drain hose is clogged with
impurities due to sharp bending
or twisting, water cannot be
drained. Place the drain hose
on a flat floor. (p34)
Warm it up with about 50 ̊ C
hot water. (p36)
Lay the laundry flat.
Place the washer on a hard and
flat floor, and check if it's properly
leveled. (p35)
Close the lid.
If the door doesn't lock,
check for any impurities
caught in the front switch.
Press Power switch again to
spin, and take out the laundry.
Remove coins and impurities
stuck in the drum vane, and
restart the wash.
