Upgrading Firmware for the Cisco Wireless IP Phone 7920 with Cisco CallManager Express 3.0

If you are using Cisco CallManager Express (CME) 3.0 with Cisco Wireless
IP Phone 7920s, you can download the version firmware image file
cmterm_7920.3.3-xx-xx.bin and the phone load image helper file OS7920.txt from
Cisco.com at the following URL:
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip-iostsp
Support for the 7920 device type is available in CME 3.1 and the OS7920.txt file
is not required.
Support for the Cisco Wireless IP Phone 7920 with Cisco CallManager Express
is limited, and specific caveats apply. Refer to the latest
IP Phone 7920 Release Notes for Firmware Release on Cisco CallManager
Version.
After downloading the new firmware version, you need to upgrade the firmware
on the phones. For instructions on upgrading firmware by using the
Cisco 7920 Configuration Utility, see the
section on page 4-14.
If you need to downgrade the firmware to an earlier version, you must use the
Cisco 7920 Configuration Utility. The phone will reset to factory defaults and lose
all configuration entries after downgrading the firmware.
