Using subwoofer output
This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output
which can be turned on or off,
• When the subwoofer output is on, you can
adj ust the cut-off frequency and the output
level of the subwoofer.

Touch SUB WOOFER on the audio func-
tion menu.
• When the subwoofer controller setting is
FULL, you cannot select SUB WOOFER.

Touch .... to turn subwoofer output on.
• To turn subwoofer output off, touch

lect the phase of subwoofer output.

to select normal phase and
NORMAL appears in the display. Touch .... to
select reverse phase and REVERSE appears in
the display,

just the output level of the subwoofer.
Each time you touch .... or

increases or de-
creases the level of the subwoofer.

displayed as the level is increased or de-

quencies in the following order:
SOHz-80Hz--125Hz
Only frequencies lower than those in the se-
lected range are outputted from the sub-

Boosting the subwoofer level
You can easily boost the subwoofer bass level
by repeatedly pressing BOOST button. If the
subwoofer is set to OFF, pressing BOOST but-
ton automatically sets the subwoofer to ON.
Press BOOST button to increase the
subwoofer level.
The subwoofer level
0-+6
is shown in the dis-
play,
• To decrease the level, press BOOST button
and hold. The subwoofer level is reset to 0 and
then you can start again,

You can also select the subwoofer level in the
auido menu. Refer to Using subwoofer output on

Using nonfading output
When the nonfading output setting is on, the
audio signal does not pass through this unit's
low pass filter (for the subwoofer), but is out-
putted through the RCA output.

Touch NON FADING on the audio func-
tion menu.
• When the subwoofer controller setting is only
FULL. you can select NON FADING. (Referto
page 89,)

Touch. to turn non fading output on.
• To turn non fading output off, touch T.
