11. Removal of the DMD
1. Remove the front cover and back cover following "1.
Removal of the front cover and back cover".
2. Remove the top cover following "2. Removal of the
top cover".
3. Remove the MAIN PCB ASSY following "3. Removal
of the MAIN PCB ASSY and motor fan (exhaust)".
4. Remove the ballast board following "4. Removal of
the lamp power unit".
5. Remove the optical unit following "5. Removal of the
optical unit".
6. Remove the four screws (a) as shown in Fig. 2-11-1.
7. Remove the DMD chip and DMD PCB ASSY as
shown in Fig. 2-11-1.
Note: If you do not have fi xture, you also can point the lens
against the table and then remove the 4 screws. See
Fig. 2-11-2.
Note: After remove the 4 screws, you can see the DMD
chip, DMD PCB ASSY ahd heat sink as shown Fig.
2-11-3.
