Selecting the programme

Basic programmes
Select the required programme – see also
the programme table. Further information
about the maximum spin speed for the
programmes is contained in the table on
page 23.
Cottons
Energy-intensive programme for heat-
resistant fabrics, e.g. cotton or linen. To
protect the drainage pipes, the hot water is
mixed with cold water and therefore cooled
before it is drained.
Cottons + Prewash
For heavily soiled, hard-wearing textiles, e.g.
from cotton or linen.
The prewash temperature is approx. 40 °C
If the Prewash programme is aborted,
the washing water is drained and the
programme continues with the main
washing cycle.
Detergent must be put into detergent
dispenser "I".
Easy Care
For Easy Care textiles, e.g. made of cotton,
linen, synthetic or blended fabrics
Mix
For a load of lightly soiled laundry items up to
2.5 kg. To freshen up cottons, linens, coloureds
or hard-wearing synthetics.
Washing temperature automatically set to
40°C. Time limited to 30 minutes.
For this programme, reduce the
amount of detergent by half!
Delicates
For delicate textiles, e.g. made of cotton,
linen, synthetic or blended fabrics.
(e.g. curtains).
No spin between rinse cycles.
Wool / Silk
For handwash items and machine-washable
textiles made of sheep's wool or similar, e.g.
cashmere, mohair or angora. A special,
delicate program for handwashable and
machine-washable silk.
Sportswear
For handwash items and machine-washable
textiles made of sheep's wool or similar, e.g.
cashmere, mohair or angora. A special,
delicate program for handwashable and
machine-washable silk.
Shirts / Business
This programme is designed especially for
washing 6 shirts with optimum efficiency,
and ensures that the shirts do not crease as
much.
Dark Wash
This programme is particularly suitable for
washing dark-coloured laundry. The
temperature is limited to 40°C, the water
flow increased and the spin speed reduced
in order to retain the colour and minimise
creasing.
Hygiene
For especially sensitive skin. For hard-
wearing textiles made of cotton or linen.
Washing at a selected temperature with a
greater water flow and additional rinsing.
Additional programme selections
Rinse
Separate rinse cycle with subsequent spin
for Easy Care textiles.
Empty /Spin
Separate spin cycle. Detergent solution or
water used for rinsing are drained before the
spin cycle starts.
When choosing "rinsing" and
"spinning" programmes, note the
appropriate spin speed, see Chart
page 23.
