Changing Plates

This section describes how to remove and replace the plates on the motherboard
heatsink, I/O cover and audio cover.

Replacing heatsink plate

Wrap the tip of the flat-head screwdriver
in a cloth.

Remove the plate.

Replacing audio cover plate

Wrap the tip of the flat-head screwdriver
in a cloth.

Use the flat end of the screwdriver into
the corner of the plate as indicated
above, and then to pry the plate away
from the heatsink.

Replace the plate by gently pressing it
into the heatsink as shown above.
