Mounting Mounting Safety instructions The SmartEye Transmitter has a radio transmitter whose function can be impaired by metallic objects or radio devices. Caution! When selecting the mounting site, ensure that there is sufficient distance to metallic objects and radio devices.

Select a suitable mounting site. Use suitable fasteners to secure the mounting bracket firmly to the mounting surface. Battery Insertion Remove the SmartEye Transmitter from the mounting bracket. Open the battery compartment: – Press in the battery lid. – Pull up the housing frame.

Mounting You may be required by local law to dispose of used battery cells in a certain manner. Always replace both battery cells. Only use 1.5 V AA type LR6(mignon) cells e.g. Energizer LR6 or Energizer HI Energy Lithium (longer life span) Insert the battery cells into the battery compartment.

Select a suitable mounting site. Mounting the sensor to a pipe will require a probe clip kit Honeywell Elm SF0120. Refer to Honeywell document ZD56037UK07R20801 for probe and technical data. Prepare the cables to the required length. Connect sensor to Transmitter connector as section 3.

Mounting 5.3 Press Teach-In button of only one Transmitter. If Teach-In is successful, the LCD will show ‘OK’. The Transmitter is now taught into position 1 of the Receiver. 5.4 Record Location and Teach-In position of each Transmitter for future reference. 5.5 If more Transmitters remain to be taught in, press button on Receiver again to scroll to the next position and repeat steps 5.3 and 5.4.
