3. Remove the caliper assembly from the
fork leg by removing the fixing bolts ( ).
4. Remove the front axle holder nuts ( )
and frontal axle holder ( ).
To avoid damage to the brake hose, support
the caliper assembly so that it doesn't hang
from the hose. Do not twist the brake hose.

Do not depress the brake lever when the
6 caliper assembly is removed. The caliper
3 piston will be forced out of the cylinder with
4 subsequent loss of brake fluid. If this occurs,
servicing of the brake system will be
necessary. See your Honda dealer for this
service.
5. Unscrew the front axle shaft ( ).
