    OPERATION The designed and tested safety of this machine depends on it being operated within the limitations as explained in this manual. Be familiar with and follow all safety rules in the manual, on the cutter and on the tractor. The safe operation of this cutter is the responsibility of the operator, who must be properly trained.

    Shredding The cutter may be used to shred various crops including green manure, straw, stubble, asparagus residue, corn stalks and similar crops in preparation for till- ing. It may also be used to shred pruning in orchards, groves and vineyards. Each shredding operation may require a different set-up.

    LUBRICATION 1. Disconnect driveline from tractor PTO. 2. Raise cutter and block securely (see Figure 6).     CROSSBAR INSTALLATION ® 1. Using emery cloth (220 or finer), remove surface rust, Loctite foreign material from hub, splined gearbox vertical shaft, and crossbar assembly. 2. Slide crossbar assembly (8) onto splined shaft. Install nut (69) and align a slot with hole in splined shaft. Torque nut to 1084.65 N-m (800 lbs-ft). 3.

    TRAKTORBETRIEB Starten Sie den Motor erneut und strecken Sie den Winkel etwas. Schalten Sie den Motor aus und versuchen Sie nochmals die CV-Antriebswelle an den Traktor anzuschließen. WARNUNG WARNUNG Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang, bis die Antriebswelle angeschlossen werden kann. Der Punkt, an dem die Antriebswelle angeschlossen werden kann, ist die maximale Drehung, die durchgeführt werden kann.

    Hohes Pflanzenmaterial sollte zweimal geschnitten werden. Wählen Sie beim ersten Durchgang einer höhere Schnittlänge aus. Schneiden Sie im zweiten Durchgang auf die gewünschte Höhe in 90 Grad. Denken Sie daran, dass scharfe Messer sauberere Schnitte erzeugen und weniger Leistung beanspruchen. Bevor Sie in einen Bereich fahren, analysieren Sie diesen zuerst, um das beste Ver- fahren zu ermitteln.
