Drive Bay Detail

The px4-400r has four user-serviceable drive bays.
1. Drive Sled Release Latch — Press the release button and pull the latch to release the drive sled.
2. Drive Status Indicator (top) —
Solid Blue — Drive at speed; no faults.
Flashing Blue — drive is in RAID rebuild mode.
Solid Red — drive failure.
2. Drive Activity Indicator (bottom) —
Flashing White — activity in process for the drive's RAID set.
Off — no activity to the drive's RAID set.

Rear Panel

1. Ventilation Holes — Do not block! Ensure adequate space at the back of the unit for air flow.
2. PCIe Slot — Can be used to install an accessory PCI Express adapter card.
3. HDMI Connector — Provides video output from the px4-400r.
4. eSATA Connector — Supports connecting an external eSATA device.
5. USB 2.0 Connectors — Four USB 2.0 ports for connecting USB devices such as storage devices
and printers.
6. Gigabit Ethernet Ports — Two high-speed Ethernet connectors that automatically detect your
network speed (10/100/1000Base-T).
7. System ID LED — Flashes blue when the Blink Lights feature is enabled in the px4-400r
