About the px4-400r Components

Front Panel

Controls, Status Indicators, and Ports
1. Power Button — Press and release to power the px4-400r on or off. When the px4-400r is powered
up, pressing the power button for less than 4 seconds will result in a graceful system shutdown.
Holding the power button for 4 seconds or more will result in a forced shutdown and could cause
data loss if data transfers are in process.
2. Power Status Indicator — Displays the current operational status of the px4-400r Network
Storage.
Solid White — unit is powered on; no faults.
Flashing White — unit is initializing/booting or shutting down.
3. System Status Indicator — Indicates system error.
Flashing Red — System or drive error — LCD or system software indicates error.
Flashing Blue — RAID rebuild in process.
4. Reset Button — Hold the Reset button for four seconds to reset security and network settings. This
allows you to regain access if network settings are incorrect or you've forgotten your password.
5. LCD Display — Scroll through the display screen to view the device name, free disk space, IP
address, and date and time. You can initiate a QuikTransfer Copy Job from the LCD and view or
dismiss any errors or warnings on the px4-400r without having to turn on your computer.
6. Next Button — Push the Next button to scroll to the next px4-400r info screen.
7. Select or Cancel Button — Push the Select or Cancel button to select a menu option on the LCD
display, or dismiss the current message.
8. USB 3.0 Connector — Supports devices such as USB storage devices and printers.
