Climb:
After the autopilot is engaged it can be used e.g. for automatic controlled
climb. To set the requested parameters perform as follows:
Altimeter setting: Set the correct barometric setting using the
correlated knob.
Autopilot vertical mode setting:
touch VS (refer to: 4.1.5.3 Vertical Mode), Increase reference
vertical speed using the nose up/ nose down button
Power and trim setting:
accordance with the announcement of the autopilot.
All announcements displayed on the PFD-screen must be accomplished
promptly; otherwise the aircraft may attain flight situations, where the
pilot must immediately take over manually.
Cross-check attitude, altitude and speed regularly using primary flight
instruments!
Descent:
After the autopilot is engaged it can be used e.g. for automatic controlled
descend. To set the requested parameters perform as follows:
Altimeter setting:
AP vertical mode setting: Touch autopilot status box, then touch VS
