Cloning
You can copy all memories and settings from one
\ VX-lR

another by connecting the MIC/EAR jacks

of the two transceivers (while turned off) using the
'optional CT-27 Cloning Cable, available from your
· Yaesu dealer.
Here is the Cloning procedure:

After connecting the two radios while they are
turned off, hold

'§ while turning on the radio. Do
this for both units.
CL or:E
appear on the LCDs.

On the destination radio, press

[ -- I
tJ appears on the LCD.
O
On the source radio, press
~.
C· OUT appears on the LCD and the cloning data
transfers.
If there is a problem during the cloning process, [
EFIFI is displayed. Check your cable connections and
battery voltage, and try again.
O
If cloning is successful, turn both radios off and
disconnect the CT-27. You can then tum the radios
back on, and begin normal operation.
