points of contact with the wall. Protect the surface with masking
tape. Be careful not to stain the frame.
IMPORTANT: Use only neutral, non-acetic silicon.

22 detail 3) To keep dirt from getting into the joints of the
various parts of the frame, you should apply putty to the gaps with
material that is suitable for the type and colour of the frame. As an
alternative, you can close the gaps with neutral transparent silicon.
First cover the frame with masking tape to keep it from getting s-
tained.

22 detail 4) Complete installation by placing silicon in the
gap between the frame and the edge of the tub. Make sure you do
not get any on the frame.

Protective treatment

When you have completely finished installing the frame, you will
need to apply to its surface the protective product that comes with it.
Marble, stone and, to a lesser extent, granite, are easily damaged
by acids (especially citric acid) and by many of the products nor-
mally found in the bathroom (cosmetics, essential oils, etc.).
Follow the instructions that come with the protective product.

I If the client decides to create the frame using wood or materials
other than those proposed by Jacuzzi
ments with the dealer in order to obtain the necessary technical
information.
IMPORTANT! The bag of wood screws provided with the
tub is to be used to fasten the wood frame, if necessary.
For correct positioning, refer to the drawing (
fasten the frame from under the tub edge, using the
holes in the methacrylate.
When fixing the frame in marble, granite, stone or Cori-
an®, do not use the screws provided, however do follow
the instructions which feature in the chapter "Variants for
models with frames in marble, granite stone or Corian®".
I To install the frame on the tub, you will need to remove the con-
trol panel and, for some models, the deviator and/or drain column
control, following the instructions described in the chapter "Vari-
ants for models with frame in marble, granite or stone".
I If a wood frame is installed, you should place suitable sealing
material between the frame and the tub, along the entire perime-
ter and in the controls and tap fixtures, so as to create a barrier a-
gainst water passage.
