Possible Error Messages (Main Unit)

The gigabeat may display the following error messages. Take appropriate action by
referring to the instructions below.
Message
UNSUPPORTED DATA
UNABLE TO READ DISK
NO DATA FOUND
DATA ERROR
FAILED TO OPEN
RECHARGE BATTERY
NO SYSTEM FOUND ON
HDD
Content and Corrective Action
The format of the selected data cannot be played on
the gigabeat. Use gigabeat room to transfer the data.
Reformat the built-in hard disk to the FAT32 format.
Use the gigabeat format.
Transferring tracks to the gigabeat.
The selected data is damaged. Use gigabeat room to
transfer the data.
The track could not be opened and played.
Use gigabeat room to transfer the data.
There is insufficient power remaining in the built-in
battery. Connect the AC adapter and charge the
battery.
The gigabeat cannot be started because the firmware
on the hard disk has been destroyed.
Restore the firmware.
