Managing tracks

The recycle bin and deleting tracks

You can move unwanted tracks or playlists to the recycle bin. Once in the recycle
bin, the files will no longer play back. You can delete the data in the recycle bin
altogether at a later time.

Touch the top or bottom of the Plus
Touch at the Browse screen and
select the track that you want to
delete.

Press the MENU button.

Touch the top or bottom of the Plus
Touch and select "DELETE FILE".
Touch the right of the Plus Touch.
The selected tracks, etc., will move to the
recycle bin and turn to the recycle bin icon.

Note
-When a track is placed in the recycle bin from any one of the "ARTIST",
"ALBUM", "GENRE", "PLAYLIST" or "FOLDER", the same track that selected
from another folder will also have a recycle bin icon.
-You can also select "DELETE FILE" by pressing the MENU button in the
Playback window.
-Selecting tracks, etc., in the recycle bin and choosing "RESTORE FILE" in step
c
will restore the tracks.
-Up to 50 files can be placed in the recycle bin.
-You cannot increase free space of the gigabeat by putting tracks into the recycle
bin. Delete tracks in the recycle bin to increase free space of the gigabeat.
