    These installation instructions are only for cars without SA 640 (telephone preparation). Target group The target group for these installation instructions is staff who have been trained on BMW cars. Work All servicing, repair, installation and adjustment work on cars is completed at your own risk.

    The installation of the speaker wiring harness IV and the switch module V is not necessary on cars with a BMW Professional DSP hi-fi system.The installation of the power supply wiring harness II is not necessary on cars with a 12-pin white telephone SA plug X400. On cars with an existing speaker wiring harness on the socket casing of plug connector X322, there is no need to install the speaker wiring harness IV.

Cars with sunroof The sunroof motor cover (15) must be ordered separately to match the trim colour (see ETK / MF for part number). Remove the cover of the sunroof motor.     3.8 Coding, concluding work This system is coding relevant. To ensure that the retrofit system: is fully functional does not suffer malfunctions and faults in conjunction with the other electrical systems in the vehicle, this system and, if necessary, other vehicle control units must be coded. In addition it is stored in the central code of the IKE.
