Fault Cause
Leaks Pipe connections leaking
Heat-up time too long Heating water temperature too low; measure at
cylinder flow, not at heat generator
Heating circuit not vented
Cylinder sensor not in sensor well
No / insufficient Controller for cylinder return temperature control
unloading of cylinder poorly adjusted
on heating water side
Diverter valve faulty / incorrectly connected
Flow rate on heating side too low

Remedy
Re-seal the connections
Increase temperature (adjust controller)
Vent several times (see manual air-vent valve)
Check position of cylinder sensor
Change parameters (in particular start
temperature differential)
Re-establish function
Vent heating circuit
Remove blockages
Increase pump rate
